NEW YORK (AP) -- 51job Inc. said Monday that Chief Financial Officer Peter Lui has resigned for personal reasons.

Lui, the former Asia Pacific area controller for Google Inc., was named to the CFO position in March.

The Chinese human resource services provider said Chief Operating Officer Kathleen Chien will serve as acting CFO while it looks for a successor. Chien had served as CFO prior to Lui and was promoted to COO in March. She is one of the company's co-founders.
