On August 4, 2009, Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: PGNX) and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, a division of Wyeth (NYSE: WYE), announced submission of a supplemental New Drug Application (sNDA) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and an Extension Application to the European Medicines Agency for RELISTOR® (methylnaltrexone bromide) subcutaneous injection for a new delivery system, pre-filled syringes.
