On August 18, 2009, UDR, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it has extended the early tender deadline in respect of its previously announced cash tender offer and consent solicitation for its outstanding 8.50% Debentures due September 15, 2024. The early tender deadline has been extended from 5:00 P.M., Eastern Time, on August 17, 2009, to 5:00 P.M., Eastern Time, on August 19, 2009, unless extended or earlier terminated. A copy of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
