A-Plant has about 200 rental locations in England Scotland, and Wales. The company, through its Specialist division, rents out such equipment as aerial platforms, booms, heaters, mowers, hoists, cranes, and power generators. Its Plant/Tool Hire unit offers tools and other equipment for the do-it-yourself, construction, and industrial markets. A-Plant accounts for more than 20% of parent company Ashtead Group's sales.
