COSCO Pacific, through its Florens Container business, is a leading lessor of shipping containers. Florens manages a fleet of more than a million twenty-foot-equivalent units (TEU) from facilities in the Asia/Pacific region, the Americas, and Europe. COSCO Pacific also generates revenue through stakes in container terminals, primarily in China's Bohai Rim, Pearl River Delta, and Yangtze River Delta regions. In addition, the company has interests in logistics and container manufacturing businesses. COSCO Pacific is a majority-owned unit of China COSCO, which in turn is controlled by government-owned marine transportation giant China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company, known as COSCO Group.
