PSA International doesn't have to rely on public service announcements to make its name known in the marine transportation industry. The company, originally known as the Port of Singapore Authority, provides container terminal services in more than 25 ports in about 15 countries in the Asia/Pacific region, Europe, and the Americas. The company's operations in Singapore account for about half of its overall container traffic. Along with operating terminals, PSA International provides marine services such as pilotage and harbor towage, as well as port-related logistics services. Singapore's state-controlled Temasek Holdings owns PSA International, which was founded in 1972.
