Not to be confused with the inflatable palaces that parents rent for kids' birthday parties, Aircastle Limited is an aircraft leasing concern. The company owns a lineup of utility jet aircraft that it adds to, leases, and sells to passenger and cargo markets. Aircastle touts a portfolio of 130-plus aircraft, which are leased to about 60 different businesses. Lessees of Aircastle's aircraft maintain the planes, as well as pay operating and insurance expenses. The company's leases are managed from offices in Ireland, Singapore, and the US. Aircastle also invests in industry-related assets, such as financing vehicles secured by commercial aircraft. Its three largest customers are US Airways, Martinair, and Emirates.
