Asia Time distributes 350 watch components from Citizen, Seiko, and about 30 other watch vendors to more than 300 customer/manufacturers in Hong Kong and China. Its products include batteries, oscillators, and integrated circuits for quartz and digital watches, as well as motors and gear trains for quartz watches. Asia Time also makes a limited number of inexpensive complete quartz and digital watches. Its customers include wholesalers, online retailers, and watchmakers that sell mainly in Asia. The firm in 2007 filed for an initial public offering and bought Times Manufacture. It began trading in 2008. CEO Kwong Kai Shun controls 78% of Asia Time.
