Fauquier Bankshares Announces Fourth Quarter 2009 Earnings

Fauquier Bankshares, Inc. today reported net income of $815,000 for the quarter ended December 31, 2009 as compared with $767,000 for the same quarter in 2008, representing an increase of 6.3%.  Earnings per share were $0.23 on a diluted basis for the quarter ended December 31, 2009, as compared with $0.22 per diluted share for the same quarter in 2008.
