BCE is the Biggest Communications Enterprise in Canada. The company (BCE actually stands for Bell Canada Enterprises) owns Bell Canada, the incumbent provider of long-distance and local telephone access in Ontario and Quebec, with more than 7 million callers. It also provides broadband Internet access to 2 million subscribers under the Bell Internet banner and digital video subscriptions to about 2 million viewers via Bell TV. BCE's mobile holdings include wireless carrier Bell Mobility (about 6 million subscribers) and a 50% stake in joint venture Virgin Mobile Canada. Additionally, it owns 44% of Bell Aliant, which serves more than 3 million local phone and 700,000 broadband Internet customers in eastern Canada.
