EIFFAGE is whipping up bridges, tunnels, and roads. The French construction and public works group, the #8 construction and concession company in Europe, has more than 500 subsidiaries that operate in five sectors: construction (Eiffage Construction), concessions (Eiffage Concessions), road construction and civil engineering (Eiffage Travaux Publics), electrical contracting (Forclum), and structural steelworks (Eiffel). Major projects include the Belgian high speed railway and Millau Viaduct. More than 80% of its sales come from France. Spanish construction group Sacyr Vallehermoso sold its 30% stake in EIFFAGE in 2008. Employees control about 23% of the voting rights.
